For reasons unknown, WB hasn't sent screeners out yet. Actually, I shouldn't state that in such an absolute way; for all I know, someone may have gotten a copy. However, my contact told me Friday MY copy won't go out until tomorrow. No idea why there was such a delay. The controversial fullscreen Wonka went out early; one would think that this disc - which showed that they responded to demands for OAR - would be in our hands early. Didn't happen, though. Watch for reviews this week...

A heads up to those interested in this disc to watch for the Widescreen version. I believe there is supposed to be two versions of this disc. Make sure to get the correct one.

At a certain B&M that frequently breaks release dates all they had was the pan n scam version. [IMG]

Anyone suspect there may be a slight delay (a day or two in some markets) on the widescreen version? I mean when the disc was announced, the P&S version would have been in production already, no? Understandably the W/S version would have to be rushed into production.
I won't be buying it anyway, since, as I understand it, it's anti-cat. [IMG]

William, we are aware of the two versions believe me, were the reason their IS a widescreen version. If it wasn't for our battle with Warner, their would only be fullframe versions available. Thanks for the heads up anyway.
I have the widescreen version BTW, and it's a great transfer, and a really fun movie too.
