There was a mention of this upcoming release in the Blade Runner thread.

    Anyone got more info/links?

EDIT: What I've found so far...

Black Rain [Ridley Scott] (SE, COM, DOC, 16:9, DD) (10/10/06)

Too late for me. At this point in the game I might as well wait and get the inevitable HD version. This should of been out years ago.

Another awesome Ridley Scott movie with a powerful Michael Douglas performance

Definitely one of my four favorite Ridley Scott films. I can't wait to see the extras on this disc.

Good movie...Lousy cover. I much prefer the original one with Michael Douglas sitting on his motorcycle, sunglasses on, toothpick in mouth, standing over shots of the action in the movie.

    Sincerely,

    John Kilduff...

I'll probably ask for it for Christmas, though.

Yea, the cover is way too modern for an older movie.

Might keep the old case instead, but then again the old insert has the same art as a keepsake anyway.

HD is coming but until I have an HDTV & player & a good price on discs, I'm not going to make myself suffer.
