It's nothing much... more like a "string" pulling the space ark, in the final shot, I believe. The snow kinda hides it.

That would be the Collectors Edition, not sold by Amazon, but by a Market Place seller (who usually make up any price they want).

The non-Collectors version is $30.87.

Too bad the artwork shown in that listing is for the non collectors edition. It fooled me.

I missed out on the Collectors Edition and got the standard one. I was trying to figure out what the difference is and it’s the slipcover and different artwork on the case. I’m glad all the content is the same on the standard edition.

just a slipcover... in Australia there's about $5 difference between the Collectors' edition and the standard. The $5 gets you a shiny slipcover.

Finally bought this (amazon price reduction), great blu ray with decent extras. The first sci-fi film I watched and still a favourite. John Hoyt and the always classy Barbara Rush.
