When the thread subject contains a spoiler

    I'm kind of surprised that no one has complained about these thread subjects yet. It's one thing to put "spoilers" in the subject so that people know not to read it if they don't want to be spoiled, but it's kind of hard to avoid if the spoiler is right there in the subject. Here's a couple of examples from the Movies forum...
    "Total Recall - dream or reality? (spoiler alert!)"
    Isn't that question in and of itself a pretty big spoiler. If I was watching the movie for the first time, I certainly wouldn't want that question hanging in my mind.
    "Which character played Keyser Soze in The Usual Suspects? SPOILERS"
    Same thing here. Would you really want to watch that movie for the first time knowing that the question itself holds some importance?
    I just figured maybe the moderators might put something in the rules letting folks know to be careful when putting possible spoilers in the subject.

    Just email a mod and ask them to change the thread title.

    BTW, I've amended both thread title to something that shouldn't give away the important tidbits.
