When the forum's down (1 Viewer)

Packy, can you do something about this? Today, when the forum was down, around 4:30, I tried to get in via the normal page, chose Non-Flash, then got the message about the forum is temporarily down ... Anyway, when I tried again a little while ago and got in, I found that all the threads from my last succesful visit, (around noon), until the failed attempt at around 4:30, were marked as though they were not new, the envelopes were yellow vs. red.

Unfortunately, I can't do anything about this because even though the board is down it looks at your cookie for the last time you were at the site.

OK, I just thought maybe there'd be a way to move the proces of when it looks for the cookie until after it's confirmed the site is working. No biggie, if you can remember when you last were on.
