Too cool *regains tiny shred of hope in mankind*
As a fellow high school student I have to congratulate all these guys since their research is far more impressive than mine. The 10th place finisher, Gordon Su, goes to my school... we play tennis together. It's pretty neat. Suffice it to say that at this rate, none of those finalists will have trouble getting where they want in college and further on.
Damn, in my senior year all the reasearch i'd done was how to get a girlfriend... One year later, i am still reseraching Congrats to him
glad to see a local kid do well! CJ
Yeah, back when I was in school an upper classman developed a piece of computer software that could measure a primate skull fragment and determine which species it was. The theoretical purpose was to help archeologists differentiate neanderthals from missing links from apes and whatnot. I wonder if the finished product really worked?
Geeze, all I did was program stupid text adventure games into the school's TRS-80's.
