Driver's Seat by Stiff N' Tears. I could see myself walking into a party and have it be just like Boogie Nights.

Other songs that I would like to be associated with:

The Crush of Love by Joe Satriani. I love that tune.

The Sickness by Disturbed. If this was a darker movie, I would love to make my entrance by this.

* Debaser - The Pixies (Oh how I miss them!)

* Orange Crush - R.E.M.

* Mack The Knife - Bobby Darin

* My Way - Frank Sinatra's version not the Fat Elvis version

* It's A Jungle Out There - Big Audio Dynamite

* The Letter U and The Numeral 2 - Negativland (FU Bono!)

* Ring Of Fire - Johnny Cash

All these would work for me....

I'll put down the one I use for IRC chatting...

Lord Farquaad's theme from Shrek (From the score CD...it's the music playing when he's first introduced...and subsequently revealed of his height.)

Pretentious, and the song doesn't match, but I wish it were Like a Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan. Probably not, though.

In truth (unlike my earlier post :) ) I would have to say that the song that best suits me is the Toys R Us jingle. You know..
"I dont want to grow up, I'm a Toys R Us kid, They got a million toys at Toys R Us that I can play...." :D

Hmm, ever since I got the MP3/CD player installed in my car, I've developed a kind of theme song approach for most situations.

Golden Years - David Bowie currently leads.

I have been playing Tank! from the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack before I get to work, though, so it becomes my theme song most mornings.

Prodigal Son by the Rolling Stones. I don't remember who did it first.

On a side note I've said for years that I wanted The Four Horsemen's Homesick Blues to be blasting out of the hearse when I'm buried.
