Just thought it would be fun for some here to guess where the pics associated with our names or sigs actually come from. I've got some unique ones (at least I think so) to begin changing to if anyone wants to play. I look forward. Anyone want to ake a guess at what mine is?

Gosh.... no guessing or no one knows 70's rock and roll? OK.... a hint.
Pic is an album cover from the late 70's........ anyone know the album or group? Come on guys.... this is simply an attempt at getting a game started.......... I actually have this particular album along with the other one from this group. It's really strange too.

Graeme Edge Band - Paradise Ballroom

I always loved the Roger Dean 70's covers, in particular this one:

Sherri Stoner is my favorite cartoon writer, so I figured that I would put a picture of her in my signature.

If you were as much of a fan of the Silver Age Warner cartoons as I was, then you would understand why she's in my sig. She was a talented, pop-culture-savvy and occasionally sensual writer.

    Sincerely,

    John Kilduff...

I think she looks good. Do you think that she does?

Bob.... Correct!!! You must actually have or know about this album since it is so obscure and pics of th album cover are so hard to find.
Some details are: Gramme Edge teamed up with Paul and Adrian Gurvitz to product 2 albums, Kick Off Your Muddy Boots in 1975 and Paradise Ballroom in 1977. In the late 70's, when custom scenes were being painted onto vans , I had a dream of Paradise Ballroom being painted on my tailgate of my custom Toyota........ never got to do it, but I did recreate the album cover into a 5'x4' sofa painting which is on my wall to this day. The album itself is still with me aand I use that sexy front cover pic as my desktop pic.

Yep John..... Sherri appears to be worthy of use in any sig......

Ryan.... if you were asking what my sig means..... it is just something I began using in college in the 60's......... you know how college kids can be with a quote.......

It's funny you say that John...I was just catching up on one of the Poll threads and was looking at that beautiful picture from your sig and wondering what the hell it was. It's looks a bit like a still frame (or portion) of one of Brakhage's shorts.

If no one guesses, please do tell...

Nah, wish I could say I did own it, but I just used some guess work and a bit of Googling to eventually find this.

I'd wager some good money that one of my buddies owns it though. He has loads of obscure prog and prog related stuff from the 70's.

I'll give one slight hint. The image in my sig has nothing to do with movies, or music for that matter.
