¶ If you want to see Robert Conrad and his stuntmen team,
¶ you've got two series to watch:
Mission: Impossible (“The Contender”: season 3, “The Killer”: season 5, “Break!”: season 7)
Mannix (“The Playground”: season 3)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the whole history of Mannix, there were only two episodes where the main guest star received credit at the beginning of the episode. One was the early episode with the deaf actress. The other was the one with Conrad.

For me, Robert Conrad grew as an actor as the parts progressed. Hawiian Eye, he's finding his voice as a leading man. With WWW, he's coming into his own and in a series like Black Sheep, you can see he's comfortable and more at ease. Being able to add some fun to the character he portrays. He's always good in what ever the roles is in, but those 3 stand out for me.

So many people passed this weekend; Orson Bean, Kirk Douglas, Kevin Conway, and now Bob Conrad. We're losing so much of our past.

Agreed, sad...yet the flms and shows that they leave behind allows us to look back fondly and remember them as they were. At thier best, doing what they loved best...

By far my favorite Robert Conrad show was The Wild Wild West. Watched it as a kid and loved it and i'm still watching it today and i still love it. But i also liked Hawaiian Eye. Saw that mostly in reruns.

Favorite was Wild Wild West. I do remember he was on an award program or something like that and before he came on they showed a scene from a TV show he was on, probably Hawaiian Eye, and he got his ass kicked. I guess they just wanted to see his reaction since he usually wins all his fights.

"Wild Wild West" is one of the greatest TV shows ever. I watched it upon its initial broadcast and rewatched it many times since then. Doesn't get any better.
