Just the one, I'm afraid - no trilogies, no series, just one single film.

    Myself: The Magnificent Ambersons

Ahhh, the million dollar question! [IMG]
Welp, movies have come and gone countless times in my lifetime, but one of them shines above all the rest, and it is...
James Cameron's TITANIC. Never has a film hit me as hard and as deeply as this, and I don't expect one to do that ever again either in my lifetime.
If I COULD pick a second, it would be...
E.T. The Extra Terrestrial. Steven Spielbergs masterpiece. It's as close as a film can ever get to actually being part of the very fabric of who I am as a person today.

So many to consider, but if I had only one film to watch for the rest of my life...
    The Godfather

Hmm. Tough one. Let me see. Annie Hall? Lawrence of Arabia? Cries & Whispers? All About Eve? Titanic?
Very close [IMG], but I think my favorite is The Apartment (with Rear Window probably being a close second).

My absolute favorite film of all time is the absolute masterpiece that is REQUIEM FOR A DREAM. Filmmaking at its finest in my opinion.

The original Star Wars. I was young (11, more precisely), impressionable and it just blew me (along with millions of others) completely away. It started my lifelong love of movies. For all of its flaws I still find its editing, screenplay, score and musical cues among the best ever done. I never tire of seeing it, which has to number over 200 times by now!! [IMG]
No other film has had quite the same influence on me.

Star Wars is also my favorite film. It's just got...something...that gets me every time.
