What's wrong with my Toshiba 65H80? (1 Viewer)

Last night my 65H80 turned itself off and came back on by itself. When the picture came back it was without any blue color with a bunch of horizonal lines that looked like this:

_____ _____ _____ _____ _____
_____ _____ _____ _____ _____
_____ _____ _____ _____ _____

The lines are about 6-8 inches in length and run from the top to the bottom of the set. The screen stays that way for a second and then slowly fades to black. I have an extended warranty on it (it's exactly 2 years old) and the technician is coming this Friday to look at it.

I first thought that the blue CRT died, but that doesn't explain the lines or the fading to back after a few seconds. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Marc

I used to have that set the problem you are having is a bad digital buss power line on the power board. A capacitor will needed to be put in line to fix it.
