I received my copy of Bewitched {color}, and disk #1 will not play but the other's play normal.
Also when I use the remote for the cable box it changes the function on my DVD recorder. The satellite remote does not. I have never had a problem with it not playing a DVD before. I have only had it for few months. Something wrong with it I wonder.

Sounds like the disc is defective. If you take it back to the store you purchased it from, they'll give you another set to replace it.

As for the remote, I have no clue
