    Martin Blythe gave some of us a sneak peak at this release in LA the other week. It's looking impressive to say the least, I'm looking forward to it.

    Like I said, I heard it. Treat it as rumor if you will, but it was told to me by someone else with a kean interest in this movie, its production and has some limited inside info on TDE. I mention it now because he later posted it in a public Trek forum himself.
    Although, TMP-TDE would have been a great movie to debut DTS for Paramount (mostly because of the wonderful score, IMHO), it will be forgivable as long as the video and DD track are given the highest bit-rate possible (a'la X-Men). After all, the only other feature on the first disc with the movie is the running commentary and the text commentary (text which, I assume, takes very little space).
