Every year, it seems a phrase gets into the public conciousness from a movie (or, more likely, the trailer). The only one I can think of this year is a little unwieldy: the "new hotness/old-and-busted" discussion from the Men in Black II trailer. Of course, I'm pretty unhip. Anyone else have a more likely candidate?

I don't know, but I'm sure Goldmember will produce some good catch-phrase.

I think that's a good candidate, Darren. I can't get that phrase out of my mind, either. [IMG]

I've used the "Old & busted, New hotness" line more than once. Does that make me "hip?"

I have to admit, I've jokingly adopted it, Howard. The guy working the window at Jack-in-the-Box (!) offered me some home furnishings. I didn't actually say it, but I was thinking, "So, you want me to take that old and busted joint so you can get the new hotness!" [IMG]
Not that there's really anything wrong with wanting to sell off some stuff to make room for the new. But, the phrase did come to mind.

Oh, God here we go again with more horrible Austin Powers phrases... [IMG] just when "Yeah, baby!" was finally starting to go away...
