What's the latest on the FFX spinoff games? (1 Viewer)

A while back there was news (rumors?) that there would be two Final Fantasy X spin-off games. Centering on Rikku & Yuna, I think. What's the latest on these? Has there been any news?

While playing Kingdom Hearts, I find myself wanting to play FFX. Although a game with the KH versions of Aerith and Squall would be pretty dang cool...

I remember reading somewhere that they turned her into Yuna Croft.

In the latest EGM, they published a rumor that FFXI won't come to the US, but instead we'll either get one the FFX spinoff games or all of them as FFXI, then they'll move right on to FFXII, kinda like how we never got FF2 so FF4 was released as FF2.

I'm not too sure about this game either. It just doesn't seem to fit Yuna's personality to be using guns and wearing short shorts.
