the O-R 1987 animated series that is now just over 3 decades old!
Wow. That's a scary thought.

But my kids are 28 & 32...so that's about right. It just doesn't seem right. :D

Cowabunga, dude.

Perhaps I should have been a bit more clear-- last year was the 30th anniversary of the premiere of that 1987 animated series; I thought that's what I meant.

No I totally got that.

I just think its amazing that TMNT are already 30 years old! But, then, I'm sometimes amazed that my kids are that old, too!

Took advantage of Deep Discount's winter sale (34% off, plus a 10% off promo code) to finally order a couple of Warner Archive sets:

Bronco: The Complete Second Season
A Man Called Shenandoah

Would like to order more, but that'll have to last me for now...still hoping for a VEI sale come Black Friday (still need to get The Immortal and Longstreet).

Next VEI sale, I need to pick up Petrocelli, The Immortal, and Longstreet.
I don't know if this is enough of a sale...

Three codes:

$10.00 off on products over $35.00 - promo code: $10

$15.00 off on products over $60.00 - promo code: $15

Free Shipping over $25.00 (North America Only) - promo code: FreeShipping

I have no idea if the codes stack and I couldn't get any of them to work earlier today. The email didn't have "active" dates although they do have BF deals on their site. It's possible the codes only work on the BF sale titles but who knows... Free shipping seems to automatically trigger if you go over $25. I dropped a $45 set into my cart to test the $10 and FreeShipping codes and all that was applied was a $2.99 "handling fee" in the shipping phase. It's all quite reminiscent of last year's codes and their working/nonworking status.

At the Dollar General on 418 earlier: second-season (1982-83) release of Fame (second and final season's worth of the NBC portion of this hit musical drama about students at a school for the performing arts in NYC)

Thanks a bunch for the promo codes, Howie! They don't stack (couldn't get the Free Shipping code to work on top of the $10 off. Since the shipping was only $2.99, I could happily live with that, since the $10 off promo code was a nice value. Picked up:

Dan August - The Complete Collection
McMillan and Wife: The Complete Series
(Black Friday priced at $18.99 before the promo discount)

So you put in for the new Dan August all-in-one? Great! Hope you enjoy!
