Which, IIRC, was the fifth season's worth of hour episodes (the series in season 6 having expanded from the half-hour that it started as).

Find the reasons why I picked that season in particular:

1. last season in black and white
2. features two finest episodes: "Seven Hours to Dawn" and "The Raid"
3. and also: "The switch to the hour format did make room for richer character development and a greater sense of a larger Dodge City community, a bustling populace of three-dimensional characters."

Good picks! Soldiers of Fortune in particular is just an absolute blast of a show, probably my favorite blind buy ever. The picture quality is uneven, to say the least, but the show is so entertaining, I didn't mind.

Definitely over extended this year. I'm really surprised by how rewarding it is to put a DVD in the player anytime I want and watch a show that I want to watch. I saw this week that Hulu is taking the Hulk, Kojak, and Simon and Simon off.
