Mr. Show, the complete series. I didn't watch it back in the 90's but it was $20 at HMV, and I like Bob Odenkirk and David Cross. I think they were going for an American version of the Monty Python TV series with Mr. Show, and as a first-time-around Monty Python nut, I must say it's a very credible effort, and really funny. They almost never went topical or trendy with their comedy either, so it holds up well.

Gilligan's Island - Complete Series - This was a double-dip to get SS discs and replace those nasty flippers. It didn't hurt that I picked it up at Best Buy, who had it on sale for $25, and used both a $5 "Birthday" and a $5 "We miss you" coupon to make the out-the-door price ~$16.50. :) I wish I could replace *all* my flippy sets with SS discs for that low a per-season price!

    **EDIT**

Got home to to find UPS had delivered:

    Justice League - S1, S2

    Justice League Unlimited - S1

Since both series are considered the same that makes another completed series (I picked up a inexpensive copy of JLU S2 a few years back to see if my grandson would like it - he did). Another bargain purchase, this time from Hastings with all three coming in at ~$21 shipped w/tax (new copies too!). With that S2 purchase added in, the entire series set me back ~$26.

On Friday, I received Laurel & Hardy's THE FLYING DEUCES Blu-ray by VCI Entertainment. Among the Bonus Features is their THIS IS YOUR LIFE live Television Appearance from December 1954. This was Remastered from 35mm Film, and includes all of the Sponsored Hazel Bishop Commercial Spots! Highly recommended! :)

    CHEERS! :)

Hardy Boys : Nancy Drew Mysteries, Season 1.

I used to have Shaun Cassidy like hairstyle and did kinda like his music.
Definitely a fan of that show back in the day.

And then of course, Pamela Sue Martin. Need I say more?

I'll be getting that one . I'm not sure what I'll do with the disappointing edited colorized version from Legend films .

    Hi Lou!

I have a couple suggestions for alternate uses:

    - Mini Frisbee

    - Beverage Coaster

In all seriousness, I may just junk mine! I'm certainly not going to sell it to anyone!

The VCI Entertainment Blu-ray Release is simply the best that I've ever seen of this Title! It's better than even the UK Based Stonevision PAL DVD Version.

    CHEERS! :)

I had seen PSM a lot in Dynasty. I gather from what you said that she was equally good here. Is that true?

At the risk of straying a bit too far off topic, I feel that I'd be remiss if I didn't note that while the I've never seen the Laurel & Hardy THIS IS YOUR LIFE Episode look better than on the VCI Blu-ray, based on a Network On Air promo clip for THE FLYING DEUCES that was recently posted to YouTube, the VCI version of that Feature may not be the best, after all! The Network On Air Blu-ray is to be Released June 15 2015, and is available on amazon.co.uk for pre-order, as is it's DVD counterpart.

For further details, I recommend following this HTF Topic: http://www.hometheaterforum.com/topic/338928-laurel-hardy-the-flying-deuces-blu-ray-available-for-preorder/page-3

Just pre-ordered 24: The Complete Series with Live Another Day on DVD. It is todays Deal Of The Day on Amazon - $71.71 after tax.

I wish it were on Blu, but only S7, S8, and LAD are available, and the price of those three is about $55.

Nice! I took advantage of a similar '24' deal several years ago before the series ended. (Got the first 7 seasons that day; as for the rest I'll Buy Another Day.) :)
