My DVD Player died on me today :( , so I caved in and upgraded to Blu-Ray, purchasing a player for $60.00. Since I HAVE to have something to play on it (Yes I know, my Standard DVDs do play on it, and quite nicely at that), so I took the liberty of ordering Star Trek, the Original Series on Blu-Ray from the Big River. :D I understand it has both the Original SFX and the Reworked SFX, so I'll have plenty to chew on. This COMPLETES my Star Trek Collection, as I now have ALL of the TV Series (Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Animated Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise. I have all of the Movies with the exception of the Fifth Movie, which I have declined to purchase because IMO it's the worst of the bunch. :td:
It will be a while before i get anything new, Money has become tight for me, but with almost 600 TV Series waiting on my Shelf to be watched I have PLENTY of TV Series, Movies, Derials and other programming to tide me until things get better. For the time being, I'll sit back and watch a little TV.

I bought "The Andy Griffith Show 50th Anniversary" set so I could watch "Opie the Birdman" with the laugh track restored, without paying big bucks re-buying the complete series after already kicking out for the individual season sets. I essentially paid $19 for an episode I already own, but without the laugh track in the episode, Andy's ribbing of Barney seems mean-spirited and repeatedly ruins the tone of the episode for me, rendering it unwatchable for the last few years.
I just watched the episode and it was worth every penny (although for the life of me I will never understand why the laugh track was left out of that episode, and a few others, in the first place).

While "Garage Sailing" I picked up Season 1 & 2 of Deadliest Catch along with the entire Collection of 1st & Ten for a Wallet-Busting $7.00. :D But was just the beginning. A Car Dealer was having another Promotion, for their "Gimmick" they gave away five Scratch-Off Lottery Tickets. FOUR of the Five Tickets they gave me were  WINNERS! totaling $59.00! which made me detour to my local Sammy's, whom I "Relieved" of:
    1. Overland Trail
    2. The Tall Man
    3. Wide Country

Stopped into Half Price Books over the weekend and found a used copy of The Simpsons Season 13 on Blu-ray. They also had Lost Season 4, but I couldn't remember if I had it already, so I passed. Turns out, I don't have it...

Invisible Man (1950s version) from an ebay auction. Saved about $10 from the cheapest price listed on Amazon. I'm thinking about preordering the David McCallum version on BR but not sure yet.
