I have the original version but was thinking about getting the Criterion version. Anybody know the difference ie what one has that the other lacks?

Thanks Guys, I think I'll stick with my original and use the money to buy something else. [IMG]

I waited until the Criterion traffic came out to buy it. Screw the original. The Criterion version is awesome!

OK, Adam, I'm open to suggestions. Convince me to get the Criterion.

Ok. Three commentaries with some very cool information and a kickass transfer. It has 25 deleted scenes, a really cool film processing demo, a featurette on editing, and one of my favorite featurettes ever on a DVD about ADR. Really cool stuff. Quite frankly, if you have the original DVD and you like DVD extras, I think this one should be a no brainer.

I definitely have to agree with Adam on this. The new transfer for the Criterion is quite an improvement over the original. That coupled with the fantastic set of extras are a major plus. Definitely a must-buy if you're a fan of the movie. Get it dude.

It's not one of my favorite films, but I haven't watched it since I got my SVS 16-46pci. Perhaps I will. [IMG]
