I'm finally going to build myself an "acoustic calibration rig", and need a laptop with USB input. It doesn't need to be any faster than ~300Mhz, with 64MB RAM.

Is there a good place (other than Ebay) to find deals on these? What should I expect to pay for a one? They seem to go for about $400 on Ebay.

I suspect if you look hard (over at EBay) you should not have problem finding a PII 300 with 64MB and USB for $300, you may have to get a barebone (no CD, no floppy,..). If you are interested, I have a Panasonic Toughbook CF 35 that I brought off EBay just a couple months ago (use it everyday) you can have for cost ($250) plus ship, but it's only a PII 266 (swappable floppy, CD, 96MB, 3.2G drive, AC adapter, the only thing that's not working is one of the 2 PCMCIA slots, 12" 800x600 TFT, no dead pixel, battery holds about 100 minute charge).
