Personally, I like 'em all. But if I had to pick just one, I'd go with Colour And The Shape. How can you go wrong with songs like Everlong, My Hero, and Monkeywrench?

I agree with Todd, all Foo albums are good. But my pick would be 'There is Nothing Left To Lose' from 1999. Its pretty much constantly in my CD changer. Colour and the Shape would be a close second though...

I'm pretty anxious to hear the new one coming out this fall, it should kick ass...

I'll put in another vote for There is Nothing Left to Lose. I like The Colour and the Shape quite a lot, too, but I can't listen to it repeatedly in a short period of time like I can with There is Nothing Left to Lose...

There's Nothing Left to Lose is my favorite. The Foo Fighters are one of the rare bands nowadays that have albums with more then one song worth listening to.

While I'm nuts about all of their albums, I consider their best work to be There is Nothing Left to Lose. I can easily listen to this CD all the way through without wanting to skip a track. To me, that's the sign of a great album. "Live-In Skin" is one of my favorite tunes (it's a killer driving tune) and "Gimme Stitches" rocks! However, definitely do not limit yourself to just that one...The Colour & The Shape is tremendous and the first one is excellent too.

I vote for There's Nothing Left to Lose. Personally, I think Colour and the Shape is their WEAKEST album. I love "Monkeywrench" and "Everlong" but don't much care for the rest of it. I'd definitely take the first album over C&S. I feel Lose is easily their most consistent album...

I prefer the Self-Titled debut myself. Also I am looking forward to Dave Grohls Metal side project PROBOT that has a record completed and is awaiting release.

Sounds like a great record where Dave plays some heavy songs as some legends of Metal ... like Tom Warrior from Celtic Frost and Lemmy of Motorhead fill in on vocal duties on various songs ... can't wait!

I'll vote for There is Nothing Left to Lose also...it's very consistent & cohesive. I like Colour and the Shape next, partly because it has Everlong on it...my favorite Foo Fighters recording ever. I would pick the debut album as third favorite, and the disappointing One by One is my least favorite...it just feels like I've heard it all before.
