I think the summer staple of TV viewing for me will be:

    Will definitely record:
    Monk
    The 4400
    The Dead Zone
    Battlestar Galactica
    Rescue Me
The Shield (as it finishes up its last 3 episodes)
Big Brother - hoping for interesting guests
    30 Days - From Super-Size Me's Morgan Spurlock
The Inside - must check out any Tim Minear show.
Six Feet Under - inertial viewing for me, for now...
Entourage - hope it doesn't suffer a sophomore slump.

    Will check out:
Fire Me, Please - love the premise.
Hit Me, Baby, One More Time (it'll probably suck)
Rock Star: INXS - Hmmm...could be good, or not...
    Hell's Kitchen - a one-note show?

    Nip/Tuck (coming back in September)

Just The Dead Zone and the last few episodes of The Shield for me[IMG]

And isn't Curb Your Enthusiasm supposed to be back in July or August? Or is it the fall now?

I'll be watching Six Feet Under and Entourage on HBO, Into the West on TNT, reruns of Scrubs on NBC, 4400 on USA, and as much baseball on TV as possible. [IMG]

I plan on catching the following:
Blind Justice (The last few eps) (ABC)
    The Shield
    Rescue Me
    Over There
    Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis
    Nip/Tuck

With my new work schedule, I'm trying to pare down my TV watching, and some hard choices will be made this fall.

    For me:

    The Dead Zone
    The 4400
    Monk
    Big Brother 6
    Beauty and the Geek

And I'll probably check out any other series that starts over the summer...give them a try and see if they are any good.

I'll also be watching "Ed" reruns on TBS since I recently became hooked.

    The INSIDE
    BSG
    Six feet under
    the closer
    into the west
    Rescue me
    4400
    over there

I really hope that Fox give the inside a chance. I honestly don't know why Tim (wonderfalls) Minear keeps developing shows there.

I too am Watching Ed on tbs. I've tivoed every episode. Great show!

    Will try:

    Hell's Kitchen
Hit Me Baby, One More Time
    Rock Star: INXS
    Kept
    The Inside
    Over There

(Basically, I try to catch up on DVDs and reading during the summer. However, yesterday I got "stuck" watching the rerun marathon of "The Surreal Life" Season 4. Had never seen this show before, but had to see Marcus Schenkenberg. Recorded the remainder to watch later. Not something I'd watch unless someone interesting was in the household.)

I saw previews for a summer mini series that seemed to be set in the "Rome/Gladiator" time period but didn't catch it's name...

Does anyone know what I'm talking about and when it starts?

According to The Futon Critic's calendar, it'll premiere on ABC on June 25th, 9 p.m. EST.

BTW, that's a good resource for all the upcoming premieres for the summer shows.

And I'll be catching up on all the House episodes I downloaded buy have not watched yet... as well as NCIS that I have not watched yet.

Yeah, I'll also be watching the shows I have recorded on my ReplayTV that I still haven't watched. I still have about 3-4 weeks worth of 7-8 shows from the past season that I need to watch. But I always seem to get caught up before the new seasons begin.

There are a whole slew of shows that I'm gonna watch this summer. I'm immediately looking forward to the last two episodes of the Shield and really want to see what fX can do with Over There. I think it will be really interesting to see a show about an ongoing war.
