Treasure Planet, set for a December release. You should be able to find news on it at the various movie sites (upcomingmovies.com, Coming Attractions, Dark Horizons, etc.)

    Thank you Greg!
Ever since posting my response, I felt a little nagging sensation. It was that movie!

PLUS - I was wrong twice. Treasure Planet is scheduled for an 11/27 release. Not December. I'm off tonight...

I know they're working on "The Snow Queen," also, or were -- I saw the artwork myself up on the wall when I was working as a temp at their Glendale facility about a year ago.

Wouldn't that be their first fairy tale since "Beauty and the Beast"?

Also, they are, or at least were, working on something called... God, what was it? Something with cows in it. About a herd of cows that escapes or goes on some kind of journey or something. I can't remember what it was called now, but they had artwork and character models ALL OVER the office for that one. They had a very distinctive look, a different, looser, quirky style of animation.

I think the next Pixar/Disney movie is Ice Age.

Ice Age is from Fox, not Pixar or Disney.

I believe the next release form Disney/Pixar is "Finding Nemo", summer 2003.[IMG]

Also, speaking of Disney and CGI, I heard on mouseplanet.com that The secret lab, who did Dinosaur, will do a movie called Wildlife, which is all CGI unlike Dinosaur which used real backgrounds etc. If I recall the plot correctly it will somehow be about a bunch of kids who kidnap a talking elephant or something.

I wish I could recall the name of the guy at mouseplanet who wrote it. He writes good articles, but I can never find the link when I'm searching. Any help?
