What's happened to the 'new' tag to indicate new listings? (1 Viewer)

This was such a useful navigation aid.
I would, as advised at the top of the forum page, post in the 'forum help and feedback area' but you don't include in that banner a link, and I can't find a link anywhere.
Anyway, please bring back the 'new' tag if it's possible. Or have I lost it accidentally and is there a way for me to reinstate it at this end?

Any thread that has new posts will be bold. Clicking on a bold thread title will do the same thing the new button did, so I decided to remove it to keep things clean. It felt like there was a little too much in the way of activity on the screen with all the new buttons.
