What's going on w/ my R2 "Taxi"? (1 Viewer)

Hi folks,

I'm using a Malata 966 or 996 or whatever it's called on a 16x9 Panasonic. So I finally received my R2 widescreen copy of "Taxi" (the french flick, not the tv show) and I can't get get the darn thing out of the windowbox picture...as in, the movie is in a rectangle surrounded by 4 black bars. I have the Malata set up to 16x9 tv type, and changing it to 4x3 will only stretch the picture. Am I missing something here? Does anyone else have this setup?

nevermind. I'm an idiot. My zoom and x-y scaling on the Malata was way off.
