It’s a dark, chewy, coffe-y, bourbon-y, 14.7% ABV beer and was too potent for me straight. So I treated it like a whiskey. :)

I just hope the price of pork doesn't go crazy. Around here you can often get whole boneless pork loins down the $2/lb. Right now I'm working on a half-loin section I paid $3/lb for. I cut off chops about 3/4" thick for the BBQ. Leftovers get cut up for recipes: tonight it's tortellini in marinara sauce with pork, onions, and mushrooms. Pork always likes to be roasted first then used in recipes, such as stir-fry "twice cooked pork".

I think the price of most fresh foods is going to jump. Around here, eggs nearly doubled in the past two weeks.

It's somewhat scary... I was looking at "clone recipes" for making "Aunt Annie's Pretzels" (my favorite soft pretzel with the jalapeno one being tops) just 2 days ago...
