im lookin for a good grade banana connector to use with monster xp cable,the monster brand will cost me around 80.00 bucks are they that good for that price?

Shane, I use Radio Shack Gold Series banana plugs with my Monster XP wire. They are reasonably priced and are well made. You should be able to find them at any Radio Shack store. A pair of banana plugs sells for around $6.

I would go to Link Removed they have 90cent each banana plug.

Home Depot has some RCA branded ones I like for a few bucks each. Worth a look IMHO.
