I am looking at these because I dont need 7.1 all I need is 5.1 due to the room that I have. All are new receivers.

Any particular reason it has to be Pioneer?
My vote would go towards the Outlaw 1050, Yamaha HTR-5490, Denon AVR-1802, or Onkyo TX-DS595.

A brand new 29TX, a flagship, which retailed for $2,300 two years ago for $700 now is a deal I wouldn't pass up. Do some research and make sure it has no faults.

If you want a great remote and AC-3 demod go with the 29.
If you want a AC-3 demod go with the 27.
If you want a great receiver go with the 26.
If for some reason you need an extra remote for the 29 (and manual) give me an email as I have one kicking around.

Ill keep that in mind about the remote. That might come in handy. I have not listen to any of them. From what I have read the 27 and 29 are the same except for the panels and remote. Has anybody listened to these? If so can they compare and contrast between the 3 I have yet to listen to them, but Ill do that tommorrow.
