I'm pretty sure both Creature sequels are coming.

I know that THE BLACK CAT and THE RAVEN are likely to be in the next wave of DVD's, as well as the CREATURE sequels. HOUSE OF DRACULA too, though the powers that be still don't know what to pair this with(most likely it will be HOUSE OF HORRORS). At any rate they won't be out until late summer.

Steve, Warner has the rights to Freaks.
One year is an excruciating long time to wait for Universal Horror & Sci-fi films. As long as The Black Cat, Island of Lost Souls & The Incredible Shrinking Man are among next year's batch, I will take my torture quietly.

I'd also like to see Universal double up their Hammer horror films like they did on laserdisc. Titles include:

    BRIDES OF DRACULA

    CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF

    NIGHT CREATURES

    PHANTOM OF THE OPERA ('62)

    EVIL OF FRANKENSTEIN

    PARANOIC

    NIGHTMARE

They also own other 60s and 70s horrors like ISLAND OF TERROR, EYE OF THE CAT, NIGHT WALKER, THE PROJECTED MAN, NIGHT GALLERY (TV movie), SSSSSSS, and THE BOY WHO CRIED WEREWOLF.

While we're on the subject, how about a widescreen double bill of KING KONG VS. GODZILLA and KING KONG ESCAPES?!!
