California Split without a hole in it due to music rights but I suspect that's impossible too. The DVD is a botch.

I'd love Danger Diabolik, with all the DVD extras, and the different English dub track that was on the VHS and LD releases.

And since I've heard it's getting a remake, Joe Dante's Explorers.

Definitely "Miss Sadie Thompson" in 3D plus the George Duning isolated score.

You have to remember that TT is a company that specialises in Film Scores.
Other than the availability of a decent transfer they must have access to the original Music tracks.

It's unlikely, but I'd like to see Columbia's Cinemascope Musical "You Can't Run Away From It" with Jack Lemmon.
It's got a good score and the Stereo Music tracks should be available.

Doug.

I'd like to see, well, a ton of films. But if I had to narrow it down to five that haven't been brought up yet (throwing my hat in for BUCKAROO BANZAI, LOVE AND DEATH, LORD JIM, WOMEN IN LOVE and a GATOR/WHITE LIGHTNING double-bill):

BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS (Fox)
CANDYMAN (Sony)
CARNAL KNOWLEDGE (Sony)
MIAMI BLUES (MGM) - if only to get rid of my wretched non-anamorphic MGM DVD
SOUTHERN COMFORT (MGM)

I'd love it if they ever got a deal with Lionsgate. And if they (or Shout Factory) put out some of MGM's Blaxploitation films out on Blu.

No! Take your time and do it right . . . . but do it!

From the Fox back catalog: The Young Lions, Tender Is The Night, The Sun Also Rises and Desire In The Dust.

From Columbia's back catalog: Barabbas, Lord Jim, Lost Command and Gunman's Walk.

From Sony, I would definitely love to see Twilight Time release Frank Capra's The Bitter Tea of General Yen. While it's not one of his most well known works, for my money it is among the best of them and it's unlikely to get a release on Blu-Ray unless Twilight Time take it on. Also from Sony, I'd love to see Bill Forsyth's Housekeeping - a terrific film that's I think is only available on DVD-R at the moment. Any Nick Ray would also be appreciated, especially Knock on Any Door with Bogart. From MGM, my most wanted is Ken Russell's The Music Lovers. And, on the Fox front, it would be good if they could release Robert Altman's HealtH, which has never previously been on home video.

SOUTHERN COMFORT is coming this summer from Shout Factory.

It's been rumored that CARNAL KNOWLEDGE (actually an MGM title) is with Criterion, but I've never seen any confirmation.

Thank God Its Friday (1978)
Skatetown USA (1979)
Way Way Out (1966), might get released as part of a Jerry Lewis blu-package.
Xanadu (1980), to do with my new TT copy of Cover Girl (1944).
