I have been getting into recording TV shows on my PC, and I am interested in feeding that signal back to the TV. I currently have a Radeon 64MB, and can send an "ok" signal to the tv, but it is through S-Video.

Is there another video card out there that can send a greater than 480i signal to my HDTV?

Dave,

if your HDTV has a VGA input, you can connect any video card directly to it. If it only has component inputs, you'll need a ~$100 VGA to component adapter. If you want to be able to use both your monitor and TV at the same time, look at one of the Radeon cards with dual VGA outputs (or one VGA and one DVI, since you can get a DVI->VGA adapter for $30 or so)

How is the quality of SVideo out to a standard TV on the Raedon? My 27" only has SVideo, but I've been thinking more and more about setting up an HTPC
