cant get the sims online in dec. we are going home for a month on nov26.

i want to purchase a version of the sims for my sister, but i have no idea which version.

is the sims deluxe would be a good choice?

You have to buy the original Sims to get going, and the only way to do that now is through the Sims Deluxe. All the others are expansions and require the original game.
