What VCRS can play PAL VHS tapes in the U.S.A. (1 Viewer)

i have someone over in the UK sending me a tape which is PAL their version of out VHS i guess. how will i know if it is compatible or will play on my VCR. my vcr is a Panaonic but i'm not sure of the model # right now. Don,

Don, you'll need to buy a multi-format VCR with on-board converter, or look for a photo shop that does conversions. Unless, your friend had a multi-format VCR and made you an NTSC tape, you'll get an incompatible PAL System tape.
