Assuming roughly $1500 budgeted, would you add external amplification to an Outlaw 1050, or replace it with a Denon 5800?

(speakers: Monitor Audio GR10's and center, Silver FXi surrounds and VTF-2 sub)

    Thanks.

While the 5800 is a wonderful piece, I would go for separate quality amping. Of course one can always think of better pre/pro possibilities than the 1050 but with a quality amp investment future upgrades are made that much easier. For the budget listed you have many options in terms of power, amp channels, etc. to help you wring out the last bit of goodness from the Outlaw...or any future pre/pro or preamp.
