I've been very impressed by Fox UK and Fox USA's TV output. I was wondering what other popular shows they own that would be popular DVD collections.

    They own

    Millennium
    Batman (1960's)
    Lost In Space
    Roswell
    Hill Street Blues

what other popular 70's, 80's and 90's shows do they own that aren't out on DVD. I didn't mention WKRP cause its went to Davy Jones locker with Miami Vice! [IMG]

I don't believe they own HSB, just distributed it back in the day

Batman they've been trying for, not looking good
    Lost in Space is coming
Roswell I hear is finally on the way
Millenium I haven't heard anything solid on, I know it's on the short list, probably post- X-Files thing

What's the scoop on getting The Green Hornet tv show out, it's only like 26 episodes or is the Bruce Lee estate opposed to the idea of it coming out on DVD ever?

There is a new Green Hornet movie with Jet Li supposedly coming in the near future.

I wasn't sure on HSB, but those know better than I [IMG]

As for Firefly, I was answering the specific series mentioned, but heck, everyone buy two! [IMG]

Millennium would be top of my list, but I'd also be very interested in a set of the other X-Files spin-off, The Lone Gunmen.

Put me down for Hill Street Blues and L.A. Law, too!

I wish Fox would release Harsh Realm. It was only 9 episodes. So you really get it on 2 discs. I don't even care about extras. This was a show that was never given a real chance.

Not sure they currently own the rights to all of these, but here are many TV Series that are Fox-sourced and haven't been mentioned yet:

21 Jump Street, 9 to 5, Action, AlienNation, Ally McBeal, Bernie Mac Show, Bobby's World, Boston Public, Chicago Hope, Civil Wars, Cop Rock, Dharma & Greg, Doogie Howswer M.D., The Fall Guy, The Ghost & Mrs. Muir, Greg The Bunny, Highway to Heaven, Hooperman, In Living Color, Judging Amy, Land of the Giants, Manimal, The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, Mr. Belvedere, Nanny & The Professor, Newhart, Peyton Place, Picket Fences, The Practice, Room 222, Silk Stalkings, Small Wonder, Snoops, Space: Above & Beyond, St. Elsewhere, The Starlost, That's Hollywood, Time Tunnel, Titus, Tracey Ullman Show, Trapper John M.D., The Visitor, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, White Shadow, Working Girl, and Yes Dear.

Nor can I forget their involvement with the final TV-movie for Doctor Who.

I'm not taking the time to do any fact-checking here, so if I'm wrong about some of those, oh well. [IMG]

The Dr Who TV movie was released by the BBC here in the UK. Ally McBeal is out on DVD but I haven't figured out the situation with the music. I don't think it was changed? The Fall Guy and 21 Jump Street would be class[IMG] [IMG] Throw in Millenmum too and i'll be a happy Scotsman. [IMG]

I'd love to see The Bernie Mac Show released eventually. It's one of the funniest shows on TV right now - let's hope it stays that way.

I've been waiting for Millennium for years. There is a report that it was supposed to be released in December of last year but obviously that never happened.

I'll be so over that one; I hope it's released sooner rather than later.
