Ok, I should be getting my Panny 47wx53 tommorow, my Samsung HD91 $300 DVD player (with DVI output) tommorow and my local cable company is bringing a HD receiver out next week that they told me has a DVI output. Now lets say for instance that I watch DVD's half the time and will watch HDTV the other half, which video source should I use with DVI?? My thinking is that the Samsung won't upconvert my dvd's (I know, I know it can't make the picture better than what was put on the DVD) without a DVI cable so that should be my choice. But how much sweeter would HDTV look with a Monster Cable DVI hookup than regular componet cables?? I'll probably play around with it anyway, but I was wondering if I there is one source I should definately feed the DVI with.

Thanks for any input,

Andy Stocker (I can't hardly contain myself waiting for my first HD experience!)

Personally I would use it w/ the DVD player as there is still not a whole lot of HD programming. How many HD channels will you be able to get?

There are DVI switching solutions available. Have you considered going that route?
