I asked a question a few days back and probably made it more complcated than I needed to so here's a revised version.

What do I get for £200 - £275 / $400 - $550.
I need to hook it up to my philips CRT TV and Xbox 360.
I want Dolby 5.1 dont need anymore than that.
I need a DVD player too, has to beable handle DIVX.

Has to be avalible in the UK but Im sure most things are.

I'm assuming that you're looking for an A/V receiver and a DVD player.

A Denon AVR-1507 and DVD-1730 would be a good combo for around that budget. This will give a basic 5.1 setup that will handle 7.1 should the need arise and the DVD player plays DiVX discs. Both are available as UK versions.
