Seriously. Are they becomming the Law & Order network or something. That stupid show is on like 24/7. I used to like TNT to but that show has gotta go. Yuk.[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

You are just now noticing this? This has been the way for years.

    BTW, I don't have a problem with this.[IMG]

Most channels seem to have one show they devote what seems like 50% of their airtime.

I used to watch the earlier episodes when they were on A&E, but haven't watched any on TNT.

TNT probably paid a very high price for the rights so they're putting it on every opportunity they get.

Also, people watch. Reruns of L&O shows on NBC get higher ratings than a lot of their first-run shows!

Unfortunately, TNT favors the more recent seasons with the horrible Elisabeth Rohm, the meh Dianne Wiest, and the who-gives-a-* Fred Thompson. The earlier ones that used to play fourteen times a day on A&E were much better; not just the actors, but the scripts.

Yep I gave up on Law and order about 3 years ago, all flavors of it. The show needs to retire but I guess they are going for Gunsmoke's Record. I liked it with Chris Noth and his original Partner, I also liked Ben Stone played by the excellent Micheal Moriarty. But i noticed a trend in L&O, they used to win most of the cases and lose a few, but in the recent shows, say the last 7 years , they were losing the cases it seemed all the time to "Make the Point" of the story. Well it might be more realistic to life to have the bad guys win, but that's not why I watch TV and a crime series, I wanna see the bad evil Corporation get it in the end.

The fact of the matter is, simply, that TNT does very well with them in the ratings and as another poster mentioned, they paid a very high price for them. With the ever rising price for tv shows it's probably cheaper for TNT to keeping running L&O than buy a new show to replace it.If it was me, I'd run 'em till the tapes wore out as long as they were making money for me.

They aired "The Last Boy Scout" this morning at 2:00 AM.

    Take that as you will.

    Sincerely,

    John Kilduff...

Friday night's a great night for football and "Law & Order" airs when there isn't a game.[IMG]
