What speakers does the Polk Audio RM7600 Speaker/Sub system use? I want to make this a 7.1. What speakers of Polkaudio should I use to make this system a 7.1? And would this involve changing the speaker placements? Thanks.

Quick Link to the Polk Audio RM7600

To answer you first question, just click on 'specifications' on your quick link. To answer your second question, Polk doesn't make a speaker that matches up too well to make this a 7.1 system. For the $$ of the RM7600 (MSRP $1529US) you can do better from Polk. Have you considered 4 RTi38's - $760, CSi30 - $200, and maybe the PSW404 - $400. Total that up and it's $1360. IMHO you'll have better sound, better frequency response, and a better match with another pair of RT38i's to make up your 7.1 for less $$. Add on $380 for the other pair of 38's and your at $1740 for 7.1. Just a thought. Depending on your budget you may want to look elsewhere for your sub if you go with the seperate speakers over the 7600 package. Take a look at HSU and SVS. They have some great subs in the $500 range.
