My living room is 9x11x19 and opens up to the dining room. I do not listen to music or movies very loud but I do want to hear all the effects when watching HT. I am probably 50/50 as far as HT/Music.

    Appreciate any input.

Get a 16-46 series sub. It can be a CS, PCi, or a CS+, I don't care. It's great for music and will certain kick your butt when it comes to movie soundtracks.

    I second J-Fo's rec.

But, if you can afford the 16+, get that.

Since your room is large-ish AND is open to another, get the plus.

Or the 16-PCi will be fine, if you don't want the amp in the equation...

    Any questions?

since you do not intend on really cranking it up I would think you could use any SVS sub to satisfy you needs, obviously if you want lows down to 16hz then you may want the 16-46, but I think any of lines of subs will work.

    William,
Have you dropped the guys over at SVS an email yet? They are very helpful. I dropped Tom a quick diagram of my room with dimensions and the layout of stuff. He got back to me right away and helped me choose. The email address is [email protected]
