    Quick question,

What size subwoofer would you guys recomend getting. I am looking at either a 12" or 15" version of the MTX SUB series. I am getting MTX cuz I can get a really good deal on the cost vs. normal retail cost. Both have the same frequency responce going from 27Hz - 120Hz. The 12" is 130 watts while the 15" is 250. How much better should the 15" sound than the 12". Is it worth $100.00 difference in price? Also, if anyone has any experience with this MTX subwoofer, please leave any comments.

My current setup for speakers is:

    2 - MTX C12 Main Speakers

3 - MTX MP52 Speakers for Surround and Center Channel

    1 - MTX Sub1, the cheapest of their subs. 10" 100 Watts. 40Hz - 160Hz

Thanks in advance for any help

I don't have any hands-on with the MTX subs, but since you are getting a big discount on them I would go with the 15" version. Once it it optimally placed and calibrated...you really can't have *too big* of a subwoofer. And almost always...it is the performance
