what size should i get

    what sive svs sub should i get? i am replaceing a velo ct 120 that is dammaged i have
    fronts center and suround is all polk
    front 800i
    center 400i
    sorounds fx500i
    rear surounds fx500i
    and onkyo 787 recever
    also would ot be beter to get the pc or the non powered ones?

    Hi Bryan,

    How large is the room? Do you want the theater to be capable of reference level playback capability on action oriented DVDs? Are you a big pipe organ fan?

    Tom,

    Since we're on this thread can you answer the same question for me. I just pre-ordered a 20-39 PCi and I'm hoping it will be enough for my room. My room is 12 ft wide, 12ft high and 26 ft long (3,744 cu ft), it doesn't open up to anything (1914 carriage house). Will the bass be sufficient, I have the sub planned to go into one of the corners. I'm coming from no sub at all, so I'm sure it will be a huge improvement no matter what. I'm not a huge pipe organ fan or anything, but I do watch a lot of action movies, etc.
