What settings are you watching the LoTR DVD with? (1 Viewer)

Just curious how everyone is watching this fantastic disc.

Am using the HT-DDW740, and my settings are...

Volume - 38

Fronts - +0
Center - +5
Rear - +8
Sub - +5
LFE - +0


During the battle scenes my windows shriek out in pain!

Most receivers have separate controls for sub, LFE, and DTS LFE (if applicable). The sub is an overall control for bass management ie redirecting low frequencies to the subwoofer, whereas the LFE control only affects the LFE channel.

(Note that +10 dB DTS LFE is the same level as 0 dB LFE for Dolby)
