What Satellite Company to Use For HDTV ? (1 Viewer)

I am interested in getting a satellite package with as much HDTV programming as possible. Could someone tell me what HDTV channels are offered on various satellite company's packages ? Which company or companies offer CBS HDTV, which ones offer HD Net or HBO, Showtime, etc. Do you need just a basic service level package to receive these HDTV channels or do you need a more premium package to receive HDTV channels from these satellite TV companies.

If Sports are more your interest go with Direct TV, if movies are more your interest go with Dish network..

DirectTV has: HBO, HD Net, and Some Pay-Per-View
Dish Network has: HBO, Showtime, and Pay-Per-View
Since you are a local New Yorker you can also get HD over Cablevision. You will get: HBO, MSG, and Fox Sports.
You can only get local channels (such as: CBS, NBC, Fox, etc..) through OTA(over the air) which requires an Antenna. However because of the recent incident most of our OTA channels are not up.
