I've yet to actually see an HD football game. From what I've heard, 720p is the preferred resolution for sports broadcasts because 1080i introduces "pixelation" on fast moving objects.

Does anyone know if SB XXXVII will be 720 or 1080?

I would like to see the Shania Twain halftime show at 1080i, though. :)

Everything from ABC is 720p. However a lot of people don't have TVs that can do 720p natively so your set top box will convert the picture to 1080i.
