Invariably, if you ask "which receiver to match with BRAND X speakers," you'll get a bunch of suggestions, all of which is to say that if your speakers are reasonably sensitive, as the Paradigms are, then you'll be able to drive them with just about any reasonably powered receiver. And, receivers of similar specification will perform similarly, if not identically, so you should narrow down your choices by deciding what features you want/need.
Once you've done that, test some of your choices in your rig. You'll probably be happy with any of a number of receivers, and you'll probably find that just about all major makes of AVRs have been matched w/ your Paradigms by someone on HTF with acceptable results.
Also, consider that in your price range you will be able to find AVRs with pre-outs for some or all channels, so you will be able to add additional amplification in the future should the spirit move you to do so.
