If nothing else gets redone, I want an SE of Titanic with an anamorphic transfer. There must be a wealth of "making of" material for this film, at least as much as there was for Abyss, which is still a benchmark as far as extras. An anamorphic transfer is a must.
Goodfellas and Casino need to be anamorphic, and SEs would be more than welcome.

I would love to see:

Christmas Story

Bladerunner

Pulp Fiction

The Psycho series

I'm sure a few more would come to mind that I would like to see reissued as well but I can't think of them!

I'd like to see :
The Bodyguard --- Needs a 16:9 Widescreen transfer( The current version is P&S Only!)
Robin Hood:Prince of Thieves --- The current disc is a flipper; plus the provided Widescreen transfer just doesn't seem to provide the proper framing. (It's about 1.78:1; the provided trailers were both 2.35:1.) Additional supplements would be nice as well.
Star Trek VI:The Undiscovered Country --- I know a SE of WOK is coming this year; but we need this movie re-issued first. The current disc is non-anamorphic and does not even provide the true theatrical aspect ratio.
Star Trek V and Star Trek:Generations --- Again, we need these re-issued before WOK. Both movies are non-anamorphic (at least, unlike ST6, the proper OAR is provided); and seem to simply re-hash old laserdisc transfers.
I agree with previous posters that we need a Vista Edition of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (I'm still trying to find the trailer that was promised with the current, non-anamorphic, disc!)

I agree that all those films already mentioned need reissues.

I'd also suggest The Last Emperor. A friend here in Oz bought the R1 Artisan edition and it's dreadful. It would be great if they released the original version and not the Director's Cut as the extra hour of footage dilutes the impact of what was already a very long film.

I also understand that the Getaway (the Alec Baldwin version) and Breakdown are not anamorphic. They're both well made escapist thrillers that would look great in enhanced mode.

That's probably because it's already been mentioned that an SE of The Usual Suspects will be released in April.
Boy, April is looking up to be one very expensive month. I also thought that Pulp Fiction was rumored to be in the works (along with Jackie Brown). This would be great.

"The Howling"(MGM/UA HV, 1980) (extras! extras! extras! esp. deleted footage!)
"Invaders from Mars"(1953) [better transfer; alternate footage]
"Nightbreed" (1990) [deleted footage?]
The following need either widescreen or anamorphic rendering, or both:
"The Abyss"(special edition)(Fox, 1990)
"Bad Moon" (Warner, 1994)
"The Funhouse" (Universal, 1981)
"Event Horizon"(Paramount, 1997) [+ deleted footage?]

Has anyone mentioned Warner daring to release uncensored Kubrick in R1:

Eyes Wide Shut

-unrated, uncensored, no digital people obscuring the orgy scenes. I can't believe this is so impossible for Warner to grasp. Kubrick is one of the 20th Century's most important film directors, for goodness sake!

I'd like to see my favorite movie of all-time, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, reissued as an UE with the extra footage shown on TV, plus another commentary with more of the cast: Phobe Cates, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Sean Penn, Judge Reinhold, etc. Also, all episodes of the short lived TV series Fast Times.

The current DVD of the sci-fi classic Forbidden Planet is in pretty poor shape. It is in need of a major restoration and remastering to it's former Technicolor glory.
Also, Artisan needs to go back and release Blake Edwards' That's Life in it's original 2.35:1 wide screen ratio. The P&S disc is pitiful.

These are hideous releases in need of immediate repair.
A Christmas Story
Purple Rain
Scarface
Some others that I feel warrant attention simply because they are great films and only very average DVD's.

I have not seen Animal House mentioned. The SE looks to be OOP. Am I wrong?

Top Gun too....
