Dream reissues would include Criterion reissuing some strangely bare-bones discs like M with the supplemental content they deserve. I'd also third the desire to see Criterion handle the Fox Lorber catalog; current discs like Ran are embarassing. (It's sad to me; as I learn more and more about classic international cinema, I learn how many of these films have received shoddy DVD releases at the hands of this firm...)
Reissues I'd like to see include some of the Scorcese films already mentioned, Pulp Fiction, and Blade Runner.
In a fantasy world Billy Wilder would record a commentary for The Apartment and then his other films. (Oh, yeah, some of MGM's budget line ain't so grand, either.)

Almost forgot, how could I have forgotten about MGM...
Thief - this time in anamorphic, and if the 5.1 remix could be re-done from better source materials, as the difference in clarity between the 1995 cd soundtrack remaster and the score on both the Dolby laserdisc edition and the 5.1 remix for the dvd beggers belief, they pale in comparison to the cd.
Bond! All the pre-1974 bond film's could do with cleaner picture transfers from better elements, by the looks of which some preservation and restoration on certain titles is also necessary.
Also You Only Live Twice, OHMSS, Diamonds Are Forever, Live and Let Die and Octopussy could do with 5.1 soundtracks - as seperate DME elements, which make remixing possible, are available for all these - apparently the DME's are lost for Dr No, From Russia with Love and Goldfinger :frowning: but Chace could still remix the composite mono master elements :)
As to why Octopussy, the only bond film originally with a 70mm blow up 6 track mix, was released in plain 2.0 in the first place I don't know....

Jean de Florette/Manon des Sources - to fix the god awful compression artifacts and deliver a proper anamorphic transfer.

Almost every movie that Chevy Chase has made. The Vacation films, Funny Farm, etc.

Chase is fullscreen's biggest rape victim.

I would also like to see The Colour Purple redone so that it is no longer a flipper.

I'll add Spies Like Us to that Chevy Chase list.

Also:

The Star Trek films

The Batman films

Swingers (That would be "money"!)

Needing a new anamorphic OAR transfer (extras would be nice, but definetely not essential):

Goodfellas
Pulp Fiction
Trainspotting
Fearless
True Romance
Truman Show
Reservoir Dogs
Heavenly Creatures
Last Night
Exotica
Welcome to the Dollhouse
Happiness
Slums of Beverly Hills
Shallow Grave
All fantastic 90's films that didn't get the treatment they deserved.
