After my purchases of an equalizer and a power conditioner are completed I'm looking to get a new sub..
I'll probably end up getting a DVC because of price, but am looking at SVS just because you guys love it so much.
So, this new sub will be use mainly for HT, but sometimes for music..
Considering my equipment and living situation (duplex) I probably won't be going that low...
So tell me what you think,
    Nathan

You may want to look into a DIY Sonotube.

    Nathan,
It sounds like you're wanting a comparison between the Parts Express DVC driver with the SVS driver. Unfortunately, the SVS driver is only sold with the enclosure. I do believe single replacement units are available but I think that's only for existing SVS owners.
Sounds like you're comparing apples to oranges here.

Hey guys, to clear up some things..
I want to buy a box that's already been built, not one that I have to put together.
    Also,
I have no idea of what box to buy and haven't seen any at all..

Would under $100 be able to buy something good?

I have no idea what you want.
Are you looking to buy a complete subwoofer? That's what an SVS is, not a box, not a driver.
Are you looking to buy a ready-made box for a driver? Do you still have the box you had in http://www.hometheaterforum.com/uub/Forum14/HTML/045187.html

Here is my guess at what he is asking, I think. He wants to know what premade box he should get to use a PE DVC 12" in. Then after that decision is made he wants to know how that sub would compare to an SVS. Which SVS and which DVC 12" he's talking about I don't know. If this isn't what he is asking, then I'm with you, he needs to do some careful clarification before this thread can continue.
